QPR vs. Coventry Prediction, Tips & Stats

For our QPR vs. Coventry prediction, we're going for a 1-1 draw.

Queens Park Rangers' desperate survival bid continues in the Championship this weekend as they face Coventry City.

QPR currently sit 20th in the Championship with eleven wins, ten draws and twenty losses from forty-one games this season.

Few would have predicted that QPR would be hovering above the relegation zone with just five games remaining back at the start of the campaign where The Hoops were looking a fine team under Michael Beale having spent the majority of the opening weeks of the season as a top three side.

Instead, they're now frantically trying to avoid relegation as they enter this game in awful form having failed to win any of their last five games, losing four of them.

They do enter this game off the back of a decent result, however, having drawn 2-2 away at West Bromwich Albion after falling 2-0 behind after 13 minutes.

The result will feel closer to a win and they'll have to hope they can use it as a springboard to more positive results.

Their form at home is generally very bad, though, having won one and lost four of their last five games on home soil having scored just twice in that period.

QPR are just two points above the drop zone and are in great danger. They desperately need three points but they facer a tough opponent in this one.

Coventry City are currently 9th in the Championship with fifteen wins, fourteen draws and twelve losses from forty-one games this season.

The Sky Blues are having a very good season as they enter the final few games of the campaign with a legitimate chance of reaching the play-offs.

Their form will have to improve, however, as they've won just one of their last five matches, losing one and drawing thee of the other four.

Their most recent game saw them draw 2-2 with Watford, a decent result in the end given they overcame a 2-0 half-time deficit.

Their form away from home has generally been good of late too, with The Sky Blues winning three and drawing three of their last six games on the road.

Coventry beat QPR 2-0 when the two sides met in the league back November and given their dismal form they should fancy themselves to complete a league double here.

It could be a tricky fixture given sides battling relegation tend to turn up at the back end of the season, but they're clearly the better side and should demand three points from themselves.
