Hull City will be looking for a swift return to the win column this weekend when they meet with Queens Park Rangers are Loftus Road with the Tigers slipping into sixth after recent results.
Scott Twine scored in the loss to Watford last time out for the Tigers, and they now sit with eight games won and five losses and sit adrift of the top two automatic spots by 15 points already. On the other hand, there is a two-point gap on Blackburn Rovers just below them and outside of the playoff spots.
Nevertheless, despite the recent losses, it's been Hull's best start to a season since dropping out of the Premier League a few years back, and there is nothing to suggest they won't fight for a spot in the playoffs once more this season.
Things are very different for QPR, however, and a recent win for them against Preston North End at Deepdale cannot overlook what has been a dismal season. Paul Smyth and Chris Willock scored goals in the away win at Preston last Friday, but nevertheless, the R's are down in the relegation zone still and have four points to make up on Huddersfield Town in the safe zone just above them.
