Queens Park Rangers have a chance to get themselves back into the playoff talks in a clash with Millwall at Loftus Road with the R's now down in 14th after another terrible bout of form in 2023 so far.
Just prior to the World Cup break, QPR were heading into the playoffs and looking like being the real deal this season. However, they are winless in all competitions since beating Preston North End at Deepdale back in mid-December. They have only since lost to Luton Town 3-0 at home and Hull City 3-0 away from home as well as a defeat to Fleetwood Town in the FA Cup. The R's have otherwise drawn five times since the win over Preston.
It leaves the London outfit down in 14th with just 10 wins and 11 losses on the board so far with 32 goals scored and 39 let in. To make their situation a little bleaker, QPR have also played one game extra this season so far and their five-point gap on the playoffs could consequently turn to eight very soon.
As for Millwall, they are in eighth but with two games in hand to play on Middlesbrough in third and Watford in fifth. The club sit five behind Boro and just two behind Watford, so should Millwall get another win here and grab all three points in their game in hand, they should be right in the thick of the playoff mix with just under 12 games left.
