For our Reading vs. Burnley prediction, we're going for a 3-0 win for the away side.
Burnley's title charge continues in the Championship as they face Reading this weekend.
Reading currently sit 22nd in the Championship with thirteen wins, eight draws and twenty losses from forty-one games this season.
Readings current predicament would have been unthinkable back at the start of the season when they were looking like automatic promotion contenders in the early weeks of the campaign.
However, an abrupt loss of form resulted in a perpetual decline with The Royals sinking down the table at constant pace for the last several months.
As such, they're now in serious danger of dropping down to League One as they enter this game in terrible form having failed to win any of their last eight matches.
Their most recent game saw them lose 2-1 away at Preston North End, a result that was made even more painful by the fact Preston's winner cam win the 92nd minute after Reading had equalised in the 83rd minute.
The loss was yet another away defeat for a Reading side that struggle immensely away from home having lost four of their last five on the road while failing to win any of their last eleven.
Reading's future is looking bleak and unfortunately for them they have to face the league leaders at a time when they desperately need three points. They parted ways with manager Paul Ince in the week and whether that will help them remains to be seen; they can only now hope.
Burnley currently sit top of the Championship with twenty-six wins, twelve draws and two losses from forty games this season.
The Clarets have had a frankly outstanding season in the Championship having sewn up promotion with over a month to go and, overwhelmingly likely, also the league title as they sit fourteen points clear of Sheffield United in 2nd with six games remaining.
In all likelihood Burnley are going to go down as one of the best teams to ever grace this division as they chase Reading's league record of 106 points from a Championship campaign.
It will be a struggle given they need seventeen points from eighteen available break it but the way they are going it would be foolish to put it past them.
They enter this game unbeaten in their last twenty matches in the league having won four of their last five, with their two most recent wins coming against arguably the next two best sides in the league in Middlesbrough and Sheffield United.
Their record away from home is good, too, having gone unbeaten in their last nine on the road while winning three of their last five.
Burnley are simply a juggernaut in this division and it's going to take a serious performance to stop them taking three points on any given day.
