For our Rotherham vs. Sheffield United prediction, we're going for a 2-1 win for the away side.
Sheffield United are looking to keep pace with leaders Burnley as they travel to face Rotherham United in the Championship this weekend.
Rotherham United currently sit 20th in the Championship with seven wins, ten draws and eleven losses from twenty-eight games this season.
The Millers have had an up and down season form-wise but a bad run over the course of the last couple of months has seen them slide closer towards the relegation places as the weeks have gone by.
They enter this game having won one, drawn one and lost three of their last five matches in all competitions, but having taken four points from their last two matches they can come into this game instilled with confidence.
After battering Blackburn Rovers 4-0, Rotherham held Watford to a 1-1 draw last time out meaning they've taken four points from teams inside the top six in their last two games.
The 4-0 win aside, Rotherham's home form has been shaky of late having failed to win any of their four games on home soil prior to the Blackburn win.
Despite their being a significant disparity in quality between the two teams, Rotherham can take confidence from the fact they beat Sheffield United 1-0 at home when the two teams met in the league back in November.
Any result here would be invaluable for Rotherham but it's unlikely their opponents will be complacent given the result in the last game. It will be a tough encounter but a draw is not off the cards.
Sheffield United currently sit 2nd in the Championship with seventeen wins, six draws and five losses from twenty-eight games this season.
The Blades have been fantastic this campaign and have cemented themselves as one of the two, along with Burnley, overwhelming promotion favourites as they sit twelve points clear of Middlesbrough in 3rd with a game in hand.
Sheffield United enter this game in top form having won four and drawn one of their last five games in the league.
Their away record in the Championship is equally impressive having won four and drawn one of their last five league games on the road.
Sheffield United will be determined to get one back following their shock loss when the two sides last met and even without home advantage on their side this is not a game they should be losing. Expect them to come out in full force and win handily.
