The Rovers have plenty of firepower, scoring the joint fourth most goals in the league per game, 1.72. On the other hand, they struggle at the back, conceding 1.56 per game on average, which has cost them plenty of times already this campaign.
Last time out, Ewood Park witnessed an entertaining, tennis-like football game, as Blackburn won 4-2 versus Birmingham. 40 shots were taken, with the visitors having 26 of those. The Rovers scored four goals in the second half, with three of those coming in a 12-minute spell just after the break.

Wednesday have failed to score in 11 of their 18 matches, but that result against Leicester may just be the catalyst to kickstart a Championship survival quest. Blackburn, however, are in excellent form and will view this game as a must win.
