Stoke City will welcome Hull City to the Bet365 Stadium this weekend with the Potters aiming to jump right back into the win column after a terrible run of form has seen them hover just above the relegation zone as Hull move into 12th.
Hull were in the bottom three earlier in the season but they are starting to build towards a spot in the top half of the table from out of nowhere. The Tigers edged past Cardiff City last time out in a 1-0 win thanks to Cyrus Christie, and this came just a few days after beating Queens Park Rangers 3-0 at the MKM Stadium where Aaron Connolly bagged a brace before an own goal from QPR.
It leaves Hull just two points behind Norwich City in 10th, although the club have played more games than most of those above them. However, mathematically speaking, they are only four points behind the playoffs all of a sudden.
Stoke are down in 19th now and head into this one after another loss on the road against Luton Town. They did, however, smash Reading 4-0 two weeks back, but Alex Neil's men remain above the bottom three by just five points
