For our Stoke vs. West Brom prediction, we're going for a 1-1 draw.
West Bromwich Albion attempt to keep their slim play-off hopes alive as they face Stoke City in the Championship this weekend.
Stock City currently sit 15th in the Championship with fourteen wins, ten draws and seventeen losses from forty-one games this season.
The Potters have had a fairly depressing season in the Championship having failed to get out of the bottom half for it's entirety, having also looked at one point as though they were going to be dragged into the relegation battle.
They've improved enough to keep that at bay, however, but they enter this game in mediocre form having won one, drawn three and lost one of their last five matches.
In fairness, two of those draws came against play-off contenders and are better results than they initially look.
Their most recent game saw them share the spoils with Birmingham City in a drab 0-0 draw.
Their form at home hasn't been too convincing of late having won one, drawn one and lost three of their last five games on home soil.
Stoke have shown a lot of promise in the last couple of months but they're clearly not yet at a Leven where they can sustain runs of form for longer than a short period of time. There's plenty to build on over the summer and three points here would not go amiss.
West Bromwich Albion are currently 11th in the Championship with fifteen wins, twelve draws and thirteen losses from forty games this season.
Like their opponents, The Baggies have been very underwhelming this season having failed to live up their pre-season tag as promotion contenders as they enter these final games of the season with their fate very much in the balance.
They're currently five points shy of the play-offs with a game in hand which doesn't sound too bad, but you consider their lack of form or consistency the gap feels less surmountable.
They enter this game having failed to win any of their last four matches the most recent of which was a 2-2 draw with Queens Park Rangers, a result that will feel more like a defeat given how much QPR are struggling in the league combined with the fact that Albion were 2-0 up after thirteen minutes.
Their away form is even worse, too, having drawn one and lost six of their last seven games on the road.
West Brom desperately need a win here to keep their play-off hopes alive but it feels as though they're in bad form at the wrong time of the season.
