Swansea City will welcome Hull City to South Wales this Saturday with eighth taking on 17th in gameweek 17 which sees the Tigers putting together a solid run of form towards the playoffs this season.
Hull have returned to winning ways after a 1-0 victory over Huddersfield Town last time out that saw Liam Delap get another goal with a finish at the MKM Stadium to move the club into eighth in the table and above Cardiff City and Middlesbrough.
They did, however, lose to West Bromwich Albion before this and suffered defeats to Ipswich Town and Southampton in October, meaning they continue to struggle with their attempts to win three in a row this season. Further wins over Birmingham City and Preston North End in the past month still keep them within touching distance of the top six and trail Sunderland in sixth by the fact the latter has won one more game.
Swansea continue to struggle after a poor campaign last time out where the club have won only five games and lost seven times. Worse yet, their 22 goals have been coupled with 21 conceded too. The Swans lost to Ipswich Town last time out, as Jay Fulton gave his side the lead before three goals from Ipswich. Jamal Lowe netted in the 95th minute, as Liam Cullen was also sent off.
Swansea drew 0-0 with Sunderland before that, but with a win at Ewood Park over Blackburn before that, there is still confidence in upsetting the odds. However, they were also beaten by Watford and Leicester City in October too.
