Two sides are looking to keep their play-off ambitions alive as West Brom and Norwich lock horns in the Championship this weekend.
West Bromwich Albion currently sit 9th in the Championship with seventeen wins, twelve draws and fifteen losses from forty-four games this season.
The Baggies have had an underwhelming campaign on the whole having failed to make their mark on the league, instead spending the majority of the season on the edge of the play-off places following a poor start.
They enter this game amidst a mixed run of form having won two, drawn one and lost two of their last five matches, but having lost their last two on the bounce there is some concern that they're tailing off at a crucial point in the campaign.
Their most recent game saw them fall to a 2-0 defeat away at Sheffield United, a result that followed a 1-2 defeat at home to Sunderland in the game prior.
Their form at home has been rocky of late too, with The Baggies failing to win any of their last three games on home soil.
West Brom are just two points outside of the play-off spots with two games remaining so they're firmly in the running, but their fate is not in their own hands and they have to avoid defeat here.
Norwich City currently sit 11th in the Championship with seventeen wins, eleven draws and sixteen losses from forty-four games this season.
Like their opponents, The Canaries have had a poor campaign by their standards and have failed to remotely live up the pre-season projections that had them pinned as one of the promotion favourites.
They started the season well enough but abruptly tailed off and have spend the majority of the season trying to claw their way back into the top six.
They've been thus far unsuccessful, however, and time is nearly up and they enter the final two games of the season in really poor form having failed to win any of their last four matches, drawing two and losing two of them.
Their most recent outing saw them comprehensively beaten 0-3 on their own patch by Swansea City in a deflating defeat.
Their away form is no better either, with The Canaries winning just one of their last five games on the road.
Despite remaining in the play-off race mathematically, it looks highly unlikely that Norwich will accrue the requisite points to force their way into the top six and as such will remain in the Championship for another year at least.
For our West Brom vs. Norwich prediction, we're going for a 2-1 win for the home side.
