Crystal Palace are heading to Cyprus in hope of finally scoring a goal against AEK Larnaca as the two sides lock horns in the second leg of their Conference League knockout tie this week.
AEK Larnaca come into this game on the back of a 0-0 draw at Selhurst Park last week. The Cypriots frustrated Palace immensely in South London, and aside from a few early scares, they were fairly comfortable.
However, having had 30% of the ball and recording only one shot on goal, Larnaca will be well aware that they will have to provide a bit more attacking impetus this week, and that's where the danger could arise for them. In two games at Selhurst Park this season, they've averaged 30% of the ball and totalled four shots on goal (and only one on target), and they'll have to be more adventurous this time.
Their overall form is mixed, with two wins, two draws and two defeats from their last five games, so Palace will be confident of finally claiming a win over the Cypriots.
Despite their performances not being particularly inspiring, Crystal Palace are in decent form results-wise, losing only one of their last seven games in all competitions.
They've also had some decent results on the road of late, winning two, drawing one and losing one of their last five on the road, with their sole loss a 2-1 defeat to Man United, a game where they were leading 1-0 until being reduced to ten men.
Palace will need to rely on the likes of Ismaila Sarr to come up with the goods here, with the Senegalese forward the team's top scorer in all competitions with 13 goals. Sarr has five goals in his last ten for Palace, so he may have a big part to play in this one.
AEK Larnaca 0-1 Crystal Palace
