Nottingham Forest's attention turns to Europe this week as they take on Midtjylland in the Europa League last 16.
It's been a turbulent campaign for the Tricky Tress who are still desperately attempting to avoid relegation to the Championship. The team are currently on their fourth permanent manager of the season in Vitor Pereira, and while his early tenure has been mixed, they are coming off the back of a 2-2 with Manchester City, so spirits will be high.
Their overall form is still poor, however, with only one win in their last eight games. Their form on home soil is equally weak too, having also won only one of their last eight in front of their own fans. A game involving the Reds seems to have a good chance of producing goals, with six of their last ten seeing over 2.5 goals scored.
Forest will be wary about the fact they've already been beaten by Midtjylland on their own patch this season, with the Danish side winning 3-2 at the City Ground in the group phase earlier in the season.
Midtjylland had an excellent group phase campaign, claiming 19 points from eight games, losing only once. They're performing well domestically too, sitting second in their Superliga group with only two defeats from 22 games.
In terms of recent form, they're unbeaten in their last eight competitive games in all competitions and have won their last three consecutive games away from home. They're pretty potent going forward too, scoring 58 goals in 22 games this season, and they've also scored four goals on two separate occasions in their last four outings.
Having already beaten Forest this season, they'll confident heading into this one. They'll know it's likely going to be a tougher task than last time, but given the Premier League side will undoubtedly have one eye on their fight for Premier League survival, they'll see this as a huge opportunity.
Nottingham Forest 2-2 Midtjylland
