Hosts FC Utrecht are yet to win in the group stage of the Europa League this season. The Dutch club have suffered four defeats and picked up one draw from their opening five matches. Utrecht failed to score in their opening three games but have only conceded more than one goal in two of their fixtures. Thursday's hosts have been beaten by a one-goal margin in the Europa League this season on three separate occasions, so while they have struggled to secure points, their defence has been fairly strong.
Nottingham Forest are unbeaten in their last three European games, picking up two wins and a draw. The Premier League side haven't been beaten on their travels but are still yet to secure all three points on their travels. Sean Dyche's side have kept clean sheets in each of their last three outings in the Europa League, and we're backing Forest to keep out their opponents once again on Thursday evening.
Taking everything into account, we're predicting a tight and tense 90 minutes in Utrecht but have backed Nottingham Forest to do enough to secure their first away in Europe this season.
Utrecht 0-1 Nottingham Forest
