Oxford United will be looking to get off to a positive start to the 2026/27 season after they suffered relegation from the Championship. The U's kick off the new League One campaign at home to newly promoted MK Dons, who finished as the runners-up in League Two last time out.

MK Dons lost three of their six friendlies ahead of the new season and were dumped out of the League Cup courtesy of a 4-1 thrashing by Norwich.
