Crawley Town and Tranmere Rovers will battle in League Two this weekend with the away side aiming to move into the top 10 just as Crawley continue to stare in the face of a drop into the National League.
Scott Lindsey's side are sitting down in 23rd after another terrible start to another month that has seen them pick up just one point and score only one goal. They began April with a 4-1 hammering from Mansfield Town before they drew 0-0 with Bradford City.
Lindsey's side then went on to lose 4-0 to Barrow in the last outing on Monday and the club now come into this game in the relegation zone for yet another week with just five games left to play. Worse yet, Crawley have managed to lose 21 games this season now and let in 68 goals - only Hartlepool Untied just above them have let in more goals.
As well as this, Crawley are one point adrift of the Monkey Hangers in 22nd and should they fail to pick up enough points in the next month, Crawley will be back in the non-league ranks of the football pyramid.
Tranmere edged past Swindon Town last time out after losing to Carlisle United earlier in April. Harvey Read Saunders was the hero once more that day and the Merseyside outfit now head into this game with a gap of two points over Swindon in 12th and just a four-point gap on Sutton in their attempts to break into the top 10.
