Both Czechia and England got off to losing starts to the new Nations League campaign. Tuesday's hosts Czechia were beaten 2-1 in their own backyard back Croatia, while England lost 3-2 at home to the World Cup champions Spain.
The Three Lions have picked up two wins from their three previous encounters with Czechia. The pair last locked horns at Euro 2020 where a solitary goal from Raheem Sterling proved enough for England to claim all three points.
Czechia and England both earned promotion from League B last season. Czechia only just made it through courtesy of three wins, two draws and one defeat from their six group games, while England were much more clinical in their qualifying, securing five wins and losing once.
Czechia went out at the group stage at the 2026 World Cup, where two of their three matches ended with both teams scoring. England made it through to the semi-finals before a heartbreaking defeat to Argentina, and went on to claim third spot.
Both teams scored in six of England's eight matches at the World Cup, and Thomas Tuchel's defence came under plenty of scrutiny during and after the tournament.
Jude Bellingham was England's best player in North America, where he scored seven goals and provided one assist. The Real Madrid star set up one of England's goals in the 3-2 defeat against Spain over the weekend, and we're backing the 23-year-old to come up with the good once again in a must-win game for the Three Lions.
