Arsenal vs Brentford Prediction

Arsenal enter their home clash with Brentford as firm favourites following their sensational 3-0 home victory over Real Madrid on Tuesday night.

The Gunners have a solid home record this campaign, as they have won ten, drawn four and lost just one of their 15 league matches at the Emirates Stadium, while scoring 30 goals and conceding just 12.

On top of this, Brentford have won just five of 15 away matches, accumulating 17 points from 15 games away from the Gtech Community Stadium.

Mikel Arteta’s men have a good record against the Bees, as they have won all of their last four encounters, with Both Teams getting on the scoresheet in each of the last two meetings, of which Arsenal emerged as 2-1 and 3-1 victors.

Prediction: Arsenal 3-1 Brentford

Arsenal vs Brentford Prediction & Preview

In Saturday’s late Premier League kick-off, Arsenal will be looking to keep their faint Premier League title hopes alive when they host 12th-place Brentford at the Emirates Stadium.

Date: 12/04/2025

Location: Emirates Stadium

Time: 5:30pm

The reverse fixture saw Arsenal run out as 3-1 victors at the Gtech Community Stadium back on New Year’s Day, as goals from Gabriel Jesus, Mikel Merino and Gabriel Martinelli turned the game around after Bryan Mbeumo had opened the scoring in the 13th-minyte of the game for the Bees.

When these two sides last met at the Emirates Stadium in March 2024, the game was a closely-fought match, as Kai Havertz scored an 86th-minute winner after Yoane Wissa’s first half stoppage time goal had cancelled out Declan Rice’s 19th-minute strike.

Arsenal know that they will need a flawless run between now and the end of the season if they are to stand even the slightest of chance of overtaking Liverpool in the Premier League title race, as they sit 11 points adrift of the Anfield club with just seven league matches to go.

Arteta’s men are however fighting to try and win the UEFA Champions League, as they pulled off a sensational 3-0 home victory against Real Madrid in the first leg of their quarter-final tie. The Gunners had previously knocked out PSV Eindhoven 9-3 on aggregate after finishing third in the Champions League’s Group Stage with 19 points from eight matches.

On the other hand, Brentford have had a solid campaign, as they are 12th in the Premier League table with 42 points from 31 matches, seeing them firmly in a mid-table position, 22 points clear of the relegation zone, but, nine points adrift of the likes of Aston Villa in seventh-place, meaning that European qualification is highly unlikely at this stage.

Form Guide

Arsenal

As previously mentioned, Arsenal enters this game off the back of a sensational 3-0 home win over Real Madrid where Declan Rice scored a brace of free kicks, while Mikel Merino also added to the scoreline in a memorable night for the Gunners.

In the run-up to that game, Arsenal were held to 1-1 and 2-2 draws by Everton and PSV on either side of victories against Fulham (2-1) and Chelsea (1-0).

Brentford

Brentford held Chelsea to a 0-0 draw at the Gtech Community Stadium, with that stalemate being the Bees only home clean sheet of the Premier League season.

Before that game, Brentford had suffered a 2-1 defeat away at Newcastle United after earning an impressive 2-1 away win at Bournemouth thanks to goals from Yoane Wissa and Christian Norgaard. In the run-up to their victory at the Vitality Stadium, Brentford had suffered a 1-0 home loss to Aston Villa after a 1-1 draw with Everton.
