Arsenal are looking to rebound from a defeat in the Premier League last weekend as they lock horns with Wolverhampton Wanderers.
- Date: 13/12/2025
- Kick-off: 8:00pm
- Location: Emirates Stadium, North London
Despite losing 2-1 to Aston Villa last weekend, the Gunners have maintained their place at the top of the league table, but their lead has been cut to just two points, with Manchester City breathing down their necks. Given how dominant Arsenal have been for most of this season, it feels like a blow for their lead to now be this slender.
Their form on the whole remains strong, however, with four wins from their last six games, and they quickly made amends for defeat against Villa with a 3-0 hammering of Club Brugge in the Champions League in midweek.
Arsenal have a very strong head-to-head record against Wolves, winning all of the last eight head-to-head meetings against the Midlands-based club. They've also kept three clean sheets on the trot against Rob Edwards' side, and having scored three or more goals in four of their last eight games, we think Arsenal will run out convincing winners.
Wolves' season, on the other hand, has been nothing short of torrid. They sit bottom of the league table on two points, with nine defeats on the spin. They attempted to stop the rot by dismissing manager Vitor Pereira and replacing him with former player Rob Edwards, but that appears to have had little effect.
With Wolves having conceded three or more goals in five of their last eight outings, combined with their awful recent record against Arsenal, it's hard to make an argument against them being resoundingly beaten here.
Arsenal 3-0 Wolves
