Two sides vying for a top seven finish in the Premier League lock horns this weekend as Brentford take on Fulham.
Brentford are currently 7th in the Premier League with 47 points. The Bees are having an excellent season under manager Keith Andrews - who is undoubtedly a contender for manager of the season - and they'll be desperate to hold onto 7th place and secure European football for next season.
Their form is poor, though, with only one win from their last six and no wins from their last five. There was only one defeat in that period, however, with the Bees drawing an excessive number of games. If we include the 2-2 draw at West Ham that saw them lose on penalties, Brentford have drawn all of their last five matches.
In their last six outings, four games have seen over 3.5 goals scored, making them a reliably high-event team.
Fulham, meanwhile, are 12th in the Premier League on 44 points. The Cottagers are just one of a dense chasing pack breathing down the neck of Brentford, and they'll be eager to claim what would be a huge three points here.
Fulham's recent form is mixed, with three wins, one draw and two losses from their last six in the league. 50% of their last six games in the league have seen both BTTS and over 2.5 goals occur.
Eight of the last nine head-to-head meetings between the teams have seen over 2.5 goals scored, so hopefully that foreshadows an entertaining affair here.
Fulham have won only one of their last six league games away from home so it's hard to see them coming away with three points here, but given how infrequently Brentford are able to get over the line, this game feels destined for a stalemate.
