Brighton made it back-to-back wins with a 2-1 victory over Nottingham Forest last time out, but the Seagulls have still only won three of their last 15 in the Premier League. Wednesday's hosts have dropped points in six of their last eight home games and have already been beaten by Arsenal in December's reverse league meeting.
Five of the hosts' last eight league games have ended with both teams scoring, and the last three head-to-heads in the Premier League between these two clubs also produced goals at both ends of the pitch.
Arsenal made it four wins from their last six league games at the weekend, defeating Chelsea 2-1 at the Emirates Stadium. The Gunners have only lost two of their last 15 matches in the Premier League and have won nine times during that period, including four victories on the road.
Both teams have scored in each of Arenal's last four league games, and Mikel Arteta's side have scored at least two goals in six of their last seven matches. Brighton haven't conceded more than two goals since the 4-3 defeat to Aston Villa in December, andhave scored at least one goal in nine of their last 11 games.
We're backing Arsenal to secure a big three points by a narrow margin in what should prove to be a close and competitive 90 minutes on the south coast.
Brighton 1-2 Arsenal
