Chelsea vs Fulham Prediction

Saturday's midday Premier League fixture sees a West London derby at Stamford Bridge, as Chelsea host Fulham.

The Blues are favourites for this fixture, given their start in the Premier League this season, having picked up four points from their opening two matches, compared to Fulham, who have picked up only two points from six available. Chelsea's home record gives them the edge in this fixture, as the Blues have won six of their last eight Premier League matches at Stamford Bridge, dating back to last season. They come into this game with a nine-game unbeaten streak, including no losses.

Fulham's record at Stamford Bridge took a positive turn last season, thanks to their 2-1 victory against the Blues, courtesy of a late goal from Rodrigo Muniz. However, their record against Chelsea is still very bleak, as the Blues have lost only 8.3% of their Premier League games against Fulham.

We do think Chelsea will win this game. Fulham have not kept a clean sheet against Chelsea in the last five meetings, and more than likely, if Chelsea score first, they will go on to secure a victory at Stamford Bridge.

Chelsea 2-0 Fulham.

Chelsea vs Fulham Preview & Prediction

Chelsea complete their trifecta of London derbies this weekend, as they face a visit from Marco Silva's Fulham side, fresh off their EFL Cup victory against Bristol City in midweek.

Date: 30/08/2025
Location: Stamford Bridge, London
Time: 12.30 pm

The Blues were held to a 0-0 draw against a determined Crystal Palace side on the opening weekend; however, their recovery a week later has put Chelsea in the potential conversation for an outsider challenge for the Premier League title. Lucas Paqueta opened the scoring for West Ham United against Chelsea, but by half-time, Enzo Maresca's side were 3-1 up with goals from Joao Pedro, Enzo Fernandez and Pedro Neto. Two further goals from Moises Caicedo and Trevor Chalobah put the Hammers to the sword.

Fulham have started their league campaign with consecutive 1-1 draws against Brighton & Hove Albion and Manchester United, the latter of which they arguably could have walked away with all three points. The Cottagers grabbed a confidence-boosting victory in midweek, when they beat Championship side Bristol City in the EFL Cup, with goals from Raul Jimenez and Craig Tanner (OG).
