Two teams whose seasons are still very much alive lock horns at Stamford Bridge on Tuesday night as Chelsea take on Tottenham.
The Blues enter this game licking their wounds following a 1-0 defeat to Manchester City in the FA Cup final on Saturday. Despite giving a good account of themselves, they weren't good enough on the day and fell to a 7th straight defeat in domestic cup finals.
A European birth is still possible for Chelsea in terms of league finish, with both a Europa League and a Conference League spot still up for grabs.
The Blues' form on the whole is not good, winning only two of their last ten games stretching back into Liam Rosenior's tenure. Performances have improved under interim Calum McFarlane, but a four-game sample size isn't the most convincing.
BTTS has occurred in two of their last three games, while the Blues have conceded in 70% of their last ten games on home soil.
Spurs, meanwhile, come into this game in the knowledge that one point will effectively secure survival in the Premier League. West Ham's 3-1 loss at Newcastle on Sunday means a vastly favourable goal difference will effectively serve as an extra point for them, should they finish level with the Hammers.
Their form is improved under Roberto De Zerbi, with the team unbeaten in their last four games following two wins and two draws. BTTS has occurred in three of their last four games, and Spurs have scored in three of their last four on the road.
Tottenham haven't beaten Chelsea in any of the last five head-to-head meetings between the teams so they may not go all the way at Stamford Bridge this time. They do, though, have plenty enough to avoid defeat and secure survival following a long and arduous season against a side that will be glad to see the back of this campaign.
Chelsea 1-1 Tottenham
