Everton welcome Brighton & Hove Albion to the Hill Dickinson Stadium on Sunday, but we think the Seagulls have every chance of spoiling the party at the weekend.
The Toffees are coming into this game with no wins in their last seven matches, following their late defeat at Elland Road against Leeds United. David Moyes is only gaining some of his more quality options back within the squad; however, a major concern was evident from their previous game: their lack of balance.
Jake O'Brien's shift at right back highlights the need for someone capable in their natural position on the right side; meanwhile, James Garner couldn't provide an attacking threat after being moved to left-back. Should Everton lineup in a similar position, someone like Kaoru Mitoma could exploit this for Brighton, given he scored against Everton last season.
As for the Seagulls, they are on an impressive run of 10 games without a defeat, and the visitors have scored first in each of their previous five matches. Typically, this fixture provides goals at both ends of the pitch, with the BTTS market landing in five of the previous seven meetings between the two sides.
That being said, we can see Brighton & Hove Albion claiming a narrow victory here.
Everton 1-2 Brighton.
