Tottenham are in dire need of a good result and performance as they face off against Everton in the Premier League this weekend.
- Date: 26/10/2025
- Kick-off: 4:30pm
- Location: Hill Dickinson Stadium, Liverpool
Everton are currently 12th in the Premier League with 11 points from eight games. The Toffees have had a solid start to the campaign and will be eager to build on their current position.
David Moyes' side come into this game with one win, two draws and two defeats from their last five league games, with their losses coming at the hands of Manchester City (2-0) and Liverpool (2-1), both away from home. BTTS has occurred in three of their last five games.
The Toffees have been very strong in their new stadium this season, winning three and drawing two of their five games on home soil in all competitions. Their most recent home game saw them end Crystal Palace's long unbeaten run with a 2-1 victory.
While their away form could do with some improvement, Everton are extremely tricky customers when playing in front of their own fans and they'll fancy their chances of three points here.
Tottenham come into this game 6th in the Premier League with 14 points from eight games. After a strong start to the season under Thomas Frank, Spurs seem to have made significant regressions after delivering a series of turgid showings.
Spurs have won only one of their last five games, and they've looked extremely blunt in their performances, with their most recent league game a 1-2 loss to Aston Villa. The team looks extremely risk-averse and is struggling to build attacks effectively, with little coherence in their attacking play. A 1-1 draw at home to bottom-placed Wolves highlights the struggles the team is currently having.
BTTS has occurred in four of their last five games so we expect Tottenham to find the back of the net here, but their recent performances make them look ill-prepared for a game as tough as Everton away. Tottenham haven't won away at Everton since 2018, and having lost 3-2 to the Toffees in this fixture last season, we're backing a repeat of that result here.
Everton 2-1 Tottenham
