Liverpool head into the first Merseyside derby of the 2025/26 Premier League campaign having a 100% record in league and cup. The Reds have won each of their opening four league games as well as their opening match in this season's Champions League against Atletico Madrid.
Everton have performed very well since their opening weekend defeat away at Leeds, but the Toffees have failed to score in two of their opening four outings in the Premier League. Liverpool have claimed 1-0 wins in each of their last two league games against Burnley and Arsenal, while Everton lacked a cutting edge at home to Aston Villa last time out and had to settle for a goalless draw.
Liverpool have won each of their last four home games against Everton, all of which have been accompanied by a clean sheet. The Reds ran out 1-0 winners the last time these two sides locked horns, and Everton have failed to score in five of their last seven Merseyside derbies.
The Toffees will give it their all this weekend, but we are expecting Liverpool's quality and confidence to extend their 100% start to the season.
