Eintracht Frankfurt will play hosts to Helsinki in Germany this Thursday for matchday three of the Europa Conference League where the Bundesliga side are clear favourites to keep up their solid run of form.
Frankfurt have won their past two Bundesliga games since a loss to Wolfsburg and a defeat to PAOK in their last Europa Conference League battle. Omar Marmoush scored in that loss to PAOK away from home, as Kevin Trapp was sent off in the 96th minute of the game and now misses this one through suspension.
The Europa League winners from two seasons ago would return to the win column with a win over Heidenheim soon after, as Hugo Larsson and Ansgar Knauff scored a goal in either half of a 2-0 win. Last time out, Frankfurt would defeat Hoffenheim with goals each from Marmoush, Knauff and Ellyes Skhiri.
They do also have one win in the Europa Conference League so far after a finish from Marmoush from the penalty spot and a late winner from Robin Kock over Aberdeen.
It is also set to be a hectic few weeks for Frankfurt, as Borussia Dortmund comes next before a battle with Viktoria Koln in the DFB-Pokal and a crucial game against Union Berlin before meeting with HJK once more.
As for the Finnish side, they head into this one off the back of a 1-1 draw with Aberdeen in Scotland on matchday two of the competition. Bojan Radulovic scored the opening goal that day before a late equaliser from the SPFL side. They also lost to PAOK in their other outing, as Radulovic scored once more after a finish from Boureima Hassane Bande at home.
