Lech Poznań reached the quarterfinals of the Europa Conference League by battering Djurgarden 5-0 on aggregate in the last 16 following 2-0 and 3-0 wins.
Their form in Europe has been excellent of late having won four of their last five encounters while not conceding a single goal in any of their last five games.
Their also in good form domestically, too, having not lost any of their last seven games, winning five and drawing two of those.
Their most recent game saw them cruise to a 2-0 win over Warta Poznan.
Their form at home has been impressive in recent weeks having won four and drawn one of their last five matches on home soil having kept four clean sheets in that time.
Lech Poznan will be hopping Michal Skoras can continue his impressive goalscoring form here with the midfielder having notched three goals in his last four matches.
The Polish side are the underdogs here but given their competency in Europe they'll fancy they can spring a surprise against their Italian opponents. It's essential they win this game, though, as they don't want to travel to Italy chasing the game.
Fiorentina reached the quarterfinals of the Europa Conference League by comfortably beating Turkish side Sivasspor 5-1 on aggregate following a 4-1 win away from home in the second leg.
Fiorentina have been surging in the second half and they enter this game unbeaten in their last thirteen matches having won four of their last five games.
Their most recent game saw them held to a 1-1 draw at home to Spezia, a result that brought an end to a ten-match winning run.
They can be very encouraged by their away from coming into this game having won their last six away matches on the bounce by an impressive aggregate scoreline of 16-1.
These two sides met in the Europa League group stages back in 2015 with each side winning one game - Lech Poznan 2-1 in Italy and Fiorentina 2-0 in Poland.
Fiorentina are on fire at both ends of the field at the minute and should really fancy their chances here. Poznan will make it competitive but the Serie A side should no doubt book their place in the semi-finals.
