Arguably the tie of the round takes place in the South of France on Thursday as OGC Nice face FC Basel in the Europa Conference League quarterfinal second leg.
We enter this game with the scored tied at 2-2 following a cracking first leg tie in Switzerland in a result that left the Ligue 1 side much more satisfied than their opponents.
Nice were firmly on the back foot in the first half and fell 1-0 down in the 26th minute. However, Terrem Moffi equalised after 38 minutes before the Nigerian bagged his second of the game on the stroke of half-time with a stupendous overhead kick.
Basel equalised midway through the second half to leave the tie finely poised enter thing the second leg.
Nice are actually amidst a very poor run of form at present as they come into this match having failed to win any of their last five matches in all competitions, drawing three and losing two.
Their most recent game saw them fall to a 1-0 defeat at Brest at the weekend, a disappointing result all things considered.
Their home form isn't all that impressive either, with the Ligue 1 side winning one, drawing three and losing one of their last five games on home soil.
The bookmakers have Nice down as the heavy favourites for this tie but it could be much closer than they anticipate. Nice have been impressive in Europe this season but their form is an undoubted concern here and is something the away side could take advantage of.
Basel will be frustrated to be coming into this tie without an aggregate lead as they'll feel they had the better of the play in the first leg only to be counterpunched by a piece of brilliance by Terem Moffi.
They enter this game having lost only two of their last fourteen matches so they're a pretty resilient outfit.
Their most recent game saw them draw 1-1 at home to league leaders Young Boys.
Zeki Amdouni, who bagged a brace in the first leg, now has three goals in his last two games and the Swiss side will be hoping he can carry them to a win here.
Their away form has been solid of late, with Basel winning three, drawing one and losing one of their last five games on the road.
Basel can at least take comfort from the fact their job here is simple: win the game. They need not worry about any specifics, a win takes them to the semi-finals. It's easier said than done, but this is an even tie.
For our Nice vs. Basel prediction, we're going for a 2-1 win for the home side (AET).
