Ligue 1 club Nice look to make the Europa Conference League quarterfinals as they face Moldovan outfit Sheriff Tiraspol.
Sheriff Tiraspol reached the last 16 of the Europa Conference League by finishing 3rd in Europa League Group E, a group containing Real Sociedad, Manchester United and Omonoia Nicosia.
Following that, they faced Serbian side Partizan Belgrade in the play-off round and ran out 3-2 winners on aggregate after losing the first leg 0-1 before running out 3-1 winners in the second leg.
Sheriff will still be slightly rusty coming into this game having played just three competitor matches since November after only recently returning from their long winter break.
In the three matches since their return they've won two and lost one, with their most recent game a 3-0 win away at Dacia-Buiucani at the weekend, a result that meant they've now won two on the bounce following the first leg defeat to Partizan.
In general Sheriff's home form is good as they've won three of their last four on home soil, and they'll likely put the defeat down to lack of practice given their inactivity.
Sheriff face a tough task here but after an emphatic win in Serbia in their last game (in Europa) they'll be confident of progressing to the quarterfinals.

They enter this game amidst a very strong run of form having gone unbeaten in their last nine matches having won three and drawn two of their last five, the most recent of which was a 1-1 draw with Auxerre at the weekend.
Nice have been in excellent form away from home of late having won their last three consecutive games on the road. Furthermore, they've conceded just one goal in their last four road trips and have been watertight defensively.
Nice have been excellent since returning after the World Cup break and they'll feel as though this tie is arriving at the perfect time for them. Sheriff are a crafty side in Europe but the French outfit are the clear favourites here.
