The Europa League sees Rangers host Sparta Prague at the Ibrox this Thursday. Both sides sit in the middle of the group and need a win to challenge Real Betis.
Rangers currently sit third in Group C after three games. The Scottish side have one win, one draw and one loss, leaving Rangers with four points, level with Sparta Prague and two points adrift from Real Betis.
In their last five games in all competitions, Rangers have four wins and a draw. Abdallah Sima and Nicolas Raskin both scored to give Rangers a 2 - 0 lead going into halftime. Sima then completed his brace and was joined on the scoresheet by Cyriel Dessers to grab the 4 - 0 win over Hibernian. However, last time out in the Europa League was a 0 - 0 draw with Sparta Prague despite having four shots on target with only 48% of the possession.
However, Rangers bounced back against Hearts in the Scottish Premiership. Lawrence Shankland opened the scoring for Hearts in the fifth minute and Rangers left it late to pull it back. James Tavernier’s penalty in the 90th minute drew Rangers level and Danilo grabbed a goal in the 93rd minute to give Rangers the 2 - 1 win. Ryan Jack, Danilo, Sam Lammers, Desserts and Tavernier all scored in the 5 - 0 thrashing of Dundee.
The last time out for Rangers was against Hearts in the Scottish League Cup. Tavernier grabbed a brace and was joined on the scoresheet by Scott Wright in the 3 - 1 win, with Shankland converting a penalty for Hearts.
Sparta Prague sit second in Group C also with one win, one draw and one loss in their three games. This leaves them on four points, above Rangers on goals scored and two points behind Real Betis.

Kaan Kairinen, Jakub Pesek, Asger Sorensen and Michal Sevcik all scored in the 4 - 0 thrashing of SK Dynamo. In the Europa League last, Sparta Prague met Rangers in a goalless affair. Sparta had 16 shots, but only four were on target in a game where Sparta had 52% of the possession.
However, back in the Czech First League, Sparta were handed a loss by Mlada Boleslav. Vasil Kusej opened the scoring for Boleslav but Pesek equalised just five minutes later. But goals from Marek Matejobsky and Lamin Jawo both scored to give Boleslav the 3 - 1 win. In the Round of 16 of the Czech Cup, Sparta faced Bohemians. Adam Kadlec opened the scoring for Bohemians but goals from Vaclav Sejk and Sevcik gave Sparta the 2 - 1 win.
The most recent outing was against Bohemians again, this time in the Czech First League. Veljiko Birmancevic converted his penalty and Lukas Sadilek also scored in the 2 - 0 win for Sparta.
Rangers and Sparta Prague have met three times in their histories with each side having a win to their name with the other meeting ending in a draw. However, it is a very low scoring fixture with Rangers only scoring two goals and Sparta Prague only having one goal in the fixture.
