West Ham are looking to take one more step towards the Europa League knockout stage as they face Bačka Topola on Thursday night.
Bačka Topola currently sit 4th in the Europa League's Group A with one draw and three losses from four games.
The Serbian side have struggled in this year's competition but all is not yet lost as they enter this game still with a mathematical chance of sealing a playoff spot for the Europa Conference League.
They're entering this game very much amidst a mixed run of form having won two, drawn one and lost two of their last five games, the most recent of which was a 4-0 win away at Partizan.
The win over Partizan was a welcome and much-needed three points as it followed a run of consecutive defeats so they can now come into this game with a little bit of momentum behind them.
Their form at home has been a real issue of late, though, with the Serbian side having failed to win any of their last five games on home soil, losing three of their last four.
They're going to have to improve on that greatly if they want to avoid defeat here as they prepare to face a West Ham side that are a savvy European operator.
West Ham United currently sit top of Group A with three wins and one loss from four games.
The Hammers have had a solid campaign in this competition but still have plenty of work to do if they want to win this group and qualify automatically for the last 16 with Freiburg hot on their heels and level on points with them in 2nd place.
David Moyes' side are in good form coming into this game having won four of their last five matches, the most recent of which was a 2-1 win over Burnley thanks to a dramatic late comeback courtesy of a Burnley own goal followed by a Tomáš Souček winner.
The win meant West Ham have now won three games on the bounce but the Hammers have struggled away from home lately having won only two of their last five on the road, with the win over Burnley following three straight away defeats.
West Ham sealed a fairly comfortable 3-1 win when these two sides met in London and despite their unconvincing away form, Moyes' men can be confident knowing their opponents have been even worse at home in recent games.
The Hammers need to win this one and they should manage just that.
For our Bačka Topola vs. West Ham prediction, we're going for a 2-1 win for the away side.
