France resume their quest to reach a record third straight World Cup final this week as they take on fellow Europeans Sweden in the round of 32.
France breezed through the group stage of this World Cup, topping Group I with nine points following wins over Senegal (3-1), Iraq (3-0) and Norway (4-1).
The attacking firepower on display has been frightening, with Kylian Mbappe, Ousmane Dembele and Michael Olise all showcasing their capabilities.
With Mbappe on four goals in three games, he's well in the race for the golden boot and with that tally he's also equalled Miroslav Klose's record of 16 all-time World Cup goals, putting him joint-second in the rankings behind only Lionel Messi.
France's form is imperious, with only one defeat in their last 14 games - with 12 of those games being wins.
BTTS has also occurred in eight of their last ten games, so they're not necessarily the most watertight defensive team these days.
Unsurprisingly, though, they score a tonne of goals, with all of their last ten games having seen over 2.5 goals scored.
With the way they've been playing at this tournament, France's mercurial frontline will be relishing the chance to further bolster their records against a vulnerable Sweden side this week.
The Swedes emerged from the group stage as one of the best 3rd placed teams after gaining four points from Group F.
A fine 5-1 win over Tunisia in their opening game was quickly cancelled out by a 5-1 hammering at the hands of the Netherlands. A solid 1-1 draw with Japan, though, concluded what was overall a positive group stage showing.
Much like France, Sweden are a consistently entertaining team to watch, with 70% of their last ten games seeing over 2.5 goals scored.
Similarly, all of their last nine games have seen both sides find the back of the net, making them a team that keeps few clean sheets.
Relatively speaking, Sweden have a strong attacking unit of their own in Alexander Isak, Viktor Gyokeres and Anthony Elanga, but they also have clear defensive issues and against the best attack on planet Earth, that does not foreshadow a positive outcome.
It's hard to look past a France win here, and given how they've been playing, you'd expect a pretty convincing victory for Les Bleus.
France 4-1 Sweden
