Hosts Canada continue their World Cup dream as they lock horns with South Africa in the round of 32 this weekend.
South Africa have undergone arguably the most impressive revival of the tournament. Having started the competition with one of the worst performances imaginable, they managed to salvage a point against the Czech Republic with a late penalty before recording a fine 1-0 win over South Korea in their final group game.
South Africa's form is still poor on the whole, with only two wins from their last ten games. Six of their last ten games have seen BTTS occur, and given how competitive this game is likely to be we expect that trend to continue here.
In what is only their fourth World Cup, South Africa had never qualified for the knockout rounds previously so this team has already made history. They have one of the kinder possible ties in front of them, but it won't be an easy game.
Canada, meanwhile, will be disappointed to have finished second in their group and sacrifice home advantage.
After drawing 1-1 with Bosnia in their opening game and beating Qatar 6-0 in their second outing, Canada went into their final game against Switzerland knowing a draw would see them finish top, but a poor first 70 minutes meant they eventually fell to a 2-1 defeat.
They improved notably in the final third of the game and easily could've nicked a point, but the damage was already done so they're now forced to settle for no home advantage.
Canada's form is strong, despite the defeat to Switzerland, with that loss the only blemish on their record in the last ten games.
A number of their recent games have seen both sides find the back of the net, with three of their last four games seeing BTTS occur.
Ultimately, we fancy Canada to win what will likely be a tightly contested affair, with the North Americans having delivered the more convincing performances in this tournament on the whole.
South Africa 1-2 Canada
