There's some huge games in the Premier League over the course of the season and not many compete with the Merseyside Derby. Liverpool and Everton's rivalry goes way back and there's no love lost between both sets of supporters, who are each desperate to claim the city's bragging rights. Liverpool have enjoyed the majority of the success in this fixture through its history, with the Blue half not winning at Anfield since 1999. But the Everton fans this time around are quietly confident that they can sneak a result, with them looking like a decent unit under new boss Marco Silva. The Toffees begin the weekend in 6 position and they look in good shape to improve on their disappointing 17/18 campaign.
Liverpool of course though come into it as favourites and they're priced at around 2/5 which tells you all you need to know about the expectations on the shoulders of Jurgen Klopp's men. They come into this one on the back of a disappointing result against PSG (L 2-1) in the Champions League on Wednesday night so they'll be desperate to get back on. track and keep the pressure on PL leaders Manchester City.
There's been some classics between these two clubs over the years and one thats really delivered recently is the 3-3 draw at Goodison Park back in 2013. It was an incredibly heated game which saw 6 yellow cards and the lead change hands on 3 occasions, before Liverpool scored a last gasp equaliser. We're hoping that this weekends match is something similar to that and we've got a quiz to get you in the spirits for it. We want to see if you can name both sides starting XI's on that day in November 2013 along with each managers - we're expecting some big scores!
