We're creeping slowly towards the end of 2018 and what a year it's been. We've seen France win their second world crown after going all the way at the summers FIFA World Cup in Russia, Real Madrid become the first side in Champions League history to win three successive titles and Pep Guardiola's Manchester City break a whole host of records on their way to winning the 2017/18 Premier League title. There's been a number of top players who've produced on the biggest stage of all and they'll all be desperate to make it into the UEFA Team of the Year.
The UEFA Team of the Year is built up of eleven elite performers who’ve carried their side to success, meaning you have to be right at the top of your game to get in there. This is voted for by the public and with voting open from today, the lucky recipients of a spot in the XI will soon find out. Over the years there’s been some massive names to make it into the end of year XI and it’s going to be interesting to see who makes the cut this time around.
