Despite Getafe picking up a shock 1-0 win when they hosted Madrid at the beginning of January, we expect Benzema to carry on his fantastic form here and add to the nine goals he has already scored against Getafe in his career.

Juventus travel to the island of Sardinia on Saturday evening to play lowly Cagliari, with Massimiliano Allegri’s side in desperate need of three points.

It has been an uncharacteristically poor season for the Old Lady, as they currently sit in fourth place on 59 points, eight points from first-place AC Milan, and they will be nervously looking over their shoulder at Roma, who are on 54 points and are on a good run of form, with three wins in their last four matches.

Juventus need three points to ensure qualification for next season’s Champions League, and they will be looking at big-money signing Dusan Vlahovic to do it.

After signing the Serb from Fiorentina for a fee of around £60m, he has already started to repay some of that fee back with four goals in his first eight league games, with his tally this season now at 21 goals. And after already bagging against Saturday’s opponents once this season back in October in a 3-0 win, we are expecting the Serbian to add to his impressive record of four goals in six appearances against Cagliari and open the scoring here.

Manchester City host Liverpool at the Etihad on Sunday afternoon in a game that will tell us who will likely be crowned Premier League champions this season come the end of May.

With third-place Chelsea over 10 points behind Liverpool and currently in crisis, and with the quality and consistency of Sunday’s competitors, it is clear that Pep Guardiola and Jurgen Klopp’s respective sides are the only serious competitors left this season. And after 30 games each, the Reds sit in second on 72 points, with Manchester City a point ahead in first place. It is finely poised for either side to win the match and spur their side on to glory.

With both teams having superb players in their ranks, six of which are in the top 10 in the league’s top goal-scorers this season, expect a goal-fest here.

Two players we are backing to score here are Liverpool’s star player Mohamed Salah and the ever-reliable Diogo Jota. Salah is the leading goal-scorer in the league so far this season, with an astonishing 20 goals in 28 games, registering a goal every 117 minutes. And after bagging in the reverse fixture at Anfield in October, we expect him to do so again.

We also expect the impressive Diogo Jota to score in this fixture, with the Portuguese the current joint-second top goal-scorer in the league this season, with 14 goals. And after scoring three times in Liverpool’s last four games in all competitions, we expect him to carry this form into Sunday’s clash.

PSG will take on lowly Clermont in an evening kick-off on Saturday, with the result already a formality for many.

Clermont come into the clash as the side with the most defeats this season and with PSG currently sat on 68 points and with their superstar squad, we are expecting a drubbing here, with many of PSG’s stars getting in on the act.

One player we expect to get on the scoresheet is Kylian Mbappe, with the Frenchman on the hunt for his fourth Ligue 1 top-goalscorer award to complement what will be his fifth Ligue 1 winners medal come the end of the season. With the Frenchman currently on 17 goals, one behind top scorer Wissam Ben Yedder, he will see Saturday’s opponents as easy pickings.

One of Mbappe’s 17 goals this season already coming against Clermont in the reverse fixture back on matchday five in September, and with three goals in his last three league games, we expect Mbappe to carry this form into Saturday’s game and add to his tally against 17th-placed Clermont.

Championship leaders Fulham host midtable Coventry City on Sunday afternoon in a 3 pm kick-off, with Fulham looking to get 3 points and take another step towards lifting the league title come the end of the season.

Coventry still have an outside chance of making the play-offs and will be looking to cause an upset at Craven Cottage.

Serbian striker Aleksandar Mitrovic has already scored an astonishing 38 goals in 37 appearances this season, at a rate of a goal every 85 minutes. His exploits mean he has broken the all-time Championship scoring record, previously held by Ivan Toney with 31 goals. And with three goals in his last three games, we are tipping Mitrovic to score once again here.

Coventry’s Swedish forward Viktor Gyokeres has scored a respectable 14 goals this campaign, with two of those 14 actually coming in the reverse fixture back in October in which Coventry triumphed 4-1. Gyokeres is a danger and can strike at any time, as shown with six of his goals coming from him opening the scoring in a game, and eight coming from the Swede scoring last in a game. And for that reason, we are backing him to also score in this fixture.
