The first game on this list comes from the UEFA Champions League where PSG host Bayern Munich in the second leg of this quarter-final tie.
PSG are in control of the tie at the halfway stage, having beaten Bayern 3-2 at the Allianz Arena last week thanks to a Kylian Mbappe brace and a Marquinhos strike.
The hosts have won with both teams scoring in three of their last four matches in all competitions including last week’s match as mentioned above, they have also repeated this feat against Lyon and Strasbourg in 4-2 and 4-1 wins.
Bayern showed that they are more than capable of scoring past PSG, as they dominated the game without the likes of Robert Lewandowski and Serge Gnabry in their side do to injury and illness, as they had 31 shots to PSG’s six.
PSG are inevitably the favourites to progress through to the next round, as Bayern have to score two goals at minimum if they are to progress and will likely leave spaces in behind their defence which the likes of Mbappe and Neymar will be able to exploit.
Mbappe’s two goals in the last leg now means that he has closed the gap on Champions League top scorer Erling Haaland to just two goals, as the French World Cup winner has scored eight times in eight appearances in Europe this season.
