Peterborough are the second top scorers in the division with 53 goals, whilst Portsmouth have scored just four less than their opposition.

Scunthorpe United take on Oldham Athletic at Glanford Park in League Two on Tuesday night, with both clubs looking to confirm their place in the division next season.

None of Scunthorpe’s last five matches have yielded over 2.5 goals, whilst Oldham’s first game under new manager Keith Curle away at Cambridge saw the Latics lose 4-2, despite taking a two-goal lead.

What must be noted is that Oldham are regarded by many as the most entertaining team in the division, having scored 51 goals in 34 matches, with only Cambridge and Exeter scoring more, whilst also having the worst defence in the league, conceding 60 times, hence why they are 17th in the table.

Scunthorpe against Oldham is priced at 1/1 to have over 2.5 goals in it which is understandable considering the Latics’ extraordinary statistics.

Real Madrid against Atalanta is the second game on this list to come from Tuesday night’s Champions League action.

Real currently lead the tie due to Ferland Mendy’s sensational 86th-minute strike at the Gewiss Stadium, giving the La Liga outfit a crucial away goal going into the home leg at Estadio Alfredo Di Stefano.

Both of these side’s last matches in their respective divisions saw the over 2.5 goals market land, as Real beat Elche 2-1 via two late Karim Benzema goals, whilst Atalanta soundly beat Spezia 3-1 via a Mario Pasalic brace, as well as a goal from Luis Muriel.

This game promises to be an interesting one, as Atalanta will need to score at minimum two goals to go through and are well known for their attacking intent, having scored 63 goals in 27 Serie A matches, with only league leaders Inter Milan outscoring them.

Los Blancos will also have the added boost of having top scorer Karim Benzema in their side, as the 33-year-old was ruled out of the first-leg with an injury. The former Lyon man has scored 19 goals in 28 games this season for Real.

This game is priced at 3/4 to have over 2.5 goals in it which is decent considering the statistics mentioned above, as well as the nature of the tie.

Ninth placed Middlesbrough take on 15th in the table Preston North End at the Riverside.

Boro are currently eight points off sixth-placed Barnsley and will realistically have to win if they are to stand a chance of making a late playoff push. Four out of Boro’s last five matches have seen the over 2.5 goals market land against Bristol City, Coventry City, Swansea City and Stoke City.

Meanwhile, the last time Preston were involved in a match with over 2.5 goals in was when they beat Huddersfield Town 3-0 at Deepdale on 27th February.

Ironically, Alex Neil’s side won 3-0 the last time these two sides met back on 9th December at Deepdale, thanks to goals from Brad Potts, Scott Sinclair and Emil Riis Jakobsen.
