Now Holloway faces a former challenger from the past in "Do Bronxs" Charles Oliveira. The two fighters met over a decade ago, with Holloway utilising the bodywork in his strikes and forcing an early stoppage, from which Charles Oliveira recovered in his UFC Career.

Oliveira, who is a former UFC Lightweight Champion in his own right, recovered from the defeat against Ilia Topuria at UFC 317 with a stellar second-round submission win over Mateusz Gamrot in October.
