With the new layout of races, it feels like the Cheltenham Festival buzz only increases as this week goes on!
Cheltenham Festival Day 3
With not one, not two, but three Grade 1 races in a row - the Mares' Hurdle, the Stayers' Hurdle and the Ryanair Chase - Day Three is arguably the best day of racing.
There are also three huge field handicaps, featuring 19, 24 and 24 runners, plus the Mares' Novices' Hurdle.
Favourite backers will be hoping for a big day with Bambino Fever, Wodhooh and Fact To File all short in the market and looking the most likely winners of their respective races on paper.
However, with a 66/1 winner and 50/1 and 40/1 places on Day 2, don't sleep on the bigger prices. Miss Gina Andrews has won the Kim Muir before and rides a big outsider for Paul Nicholls in Insurrection, while Mille Et Une Vies could be anything for the Skeltons when she makes her British debut. She ran three times in France last year and finished second in a Grade 3, and as a four year old has a very light weight to carry.
Cheltenham Festival Day 4
All eyes on Friday will be on the Gold Cup, and what a renewal it is this year - the most open in recent years.
Gaelic Warrior, Jango Baie, The Jukebox Man, Haiti Couleurs and Inothewayurthinkin all have legitimate chances. Even more excitingly, they represent five different owners and trainers, and all have extremely different profiles.
At bigger odds, old boy Envoi Allen makes his 31st start, with a hugely impressive record of having won 17 of them. He's not expected to make it four Festival wins at twelve years old, but what a story it would be if he could win one last time.
