Brazil have picked up four points from their opening two group games and will be the much-fancied favourites to win their final match of the group stage against Scotland. Steve Clarke's side got off to a winning start, but a narrow defeat to Morocco followed, and now Scotland's best chance of qualifying for the knockout round appears to be as one of the best third-placed teams.
Brazil were always the favourites to win Group C and head into their final match against Scotland unbeaten in their last five fixtures, picking up four wins and a draw. Scotland's form has been hit and miss of late, with Clarke's men losing four and winning four of their last eight matches, and we are yet to see a really good performance from the Tartan Army at the 2026 World Cup.
The weakness for Carlo Ancelotti's side will be the full-backs. Danilo and Douglas Santos are not the most athletic of players, so for Steve Clarke's side, they should be looking to utilise the pace of Andrew Robertson and Ben Gannon-Doak on either flank to exploit Brazil.
