Group A

After coming from 2-0 down to draw 2-2 with Real Madrid at the Bernabeu, PSG guaranteed top spot of Group A, with Real Madrid having to settle for second. The only thing left is to find out which team finishes third and goes down to the Europa League, as it stands Club Brugge will finish third, but if Galatasaray can beat or draw with PSG in Paris and Club Brugge drop points against Real Madrid, Galatasaray will finish third on goal difference.

  1. PSG - 13
  2. Real Madrid - 8
  3. Club Brugge - 3
  4. Galatasaray - 2

Group B

Despite a poor start to their Champions League campaign, a 4-2 victory over Olympiacos guaranteed Tottenham a place in the round of 16, which didn’t seem to be the case considering that Tottenham were losing 2-0 at one point. It was business as usual for Bayern Munich as 4 goals from Robert Lewandowski helped them beat Crvena Zvezda 6-0 in Belgrade to give them 5 wins out of 5 and seal top spot of Group B. Crvena Zvezda only need a draw in their final game against Olympiacos to guarantee them a place in the Europa League, a victory for Olympiacos however will send them to the Europa League.

  1. Bayern Munich - 15
  2. Tottenham - 10
  3. Crvena Zvezda - 3
  4. Olympiacos - 1

Group C

A surprise draw against Shakhtar Donetsk in Manchester didn’t do Manchester City much harm as they are still the guaranteed winners of Group C ahead of their final game against Dinamo Zagreb. Atalanta’s win over Dinamo Zagreb means anyone can still qualify from Group C. A victory for Shakhtar Donetsk over Atalanta will mean they qualify from the group.

  1. Manchester City - 11
  2. Shakhtar Donetsk - 6
  3. Dinamo Zagreb - 5
  4. Atalanta - 4

Group D

Juventus’ 1-0 victory over Atletico Madrid guaranteed them top spot of Group D with a game to spare, the defeat for Atletico however but them in danger of failing to qualify for the next round. Thanks to their 2-0 victory over Lokomotiv Moscow, if Bayer Leverkusen beat Juventus and Atletico Madrid drop points against Lokomotiv Moscow, it will be Bayer Leverkusen who qualifies with Atletico Madrid dropping down to the Europa League.

  1. Juventus - 13
  2. Atletico Madrid - 7
  3. Bayer Leverkusen - 6
  4. Lokomotiv Moscow - 3

Group E

Liverpool’s 1-1 draw with Napoli at Anfield means they are still in danger of not qualifying as RB Salzburg’s 4-1 victory over Genk means that if RB Salzburg beat Liverpool in Austria and Napoli beat Genk in Naples, it will be Napoli and RB Salzburg that advance to the round of 16, with Liverpool dropping down to the Europa League.

  1. Liverpool- 10
  2. Napoli- 9
  3. RB Salzburg - 7
  4. Genk - 1

Group F

Lionel Messi’s 700th game for Barcelona was a good one as their 3-1 victory over Borussia Dortmund guaranteed them top spot of Group G going into their final game against Inter who made the most of Dortmund dropping points as their 3-1 victory over Slavia Praha means they are level on points with Dortmund ahead if gameweek 6. Considering that Dortmund will almost certainly beat Slavia Praha, Inter will need a victory against Barcelona in the San Siro if they want to qualify.

  1. Barcelona - 11
  2. Inter - 7
  3. Borussia Dortmund - 7
  4. Slavia Praha - 2

Group G

Benfica’s draw with RB Leipzig means that all 4 teams in Group G have a chance of qualification going into the final game. A draw for RB Leipzig against Lyon will guarantee them top spot of Group G. If Lyon drop points against RB Leipzig, it will be Zenit that qualifies, but if Zenit drops points against Benfica and Lyon beat RB Leipzig, it will be Lyon that qualifies.

  1. RB Leipzig - 10
  2. Zenit - 7
  3. Lyon - 7
  4. Benfica - 4

Group H

After their 2-2 draw with Valencia, a victory over Lille at Stamford Bridge will guarantee qualification to the next round. Despite their 2-0 victory over Lille, Ajax haven’t guaranteed qualification just yet as a defeat against Valencia in Amsterdam and a Chelsea victory will mean that Chelsea and Valencia will be the ones to qualify from Group H.

  1. Ajax - 10
  2. Chelsea - 8
  3. Valencia - 8
  4. Lille - 1
