The Premier League outfits enter this Champions League season with a complex task ahead of them, besides the European champions themselves, Chelsea, who have been gifted a relatively easy start to the defence of their crown.
The Blues will still come up against Juventus, but with Malmo and Zenit the other two clubs in Group H, they are now 9/1 to win all their group games, putting them just behind Real as the favourites to do so and, by a distance, the most favoured English outfit to win all group games.
Manchester City will be chasing the European crown once more, but this time, it might just be their toughest group stage to date, despite winning the Premier League last season. Club Brugge will be the whipping boys in this group, but with Paris Saint-Germain the favourites to win the title with the addition of Lionel Messi, along with RB Leipzig Group A, it's going to be far from easy for City. Pep Guardiola's men are 16/1 to win all group games.
Elsewhere, Liverpool have arguably an even tougher test than City do, as they meet AC Milan, Porto and Atletico Madrid. Milan have been on the up the past year and have continued to impress in Serie A again and could well be title contenders once more. Porto made it to the quarter-finals in the last Champions League, while Atletico have started the defence of their La Liga title in unbeaten fashion, with three wins and a draw so far, all of which came without the new signing of an old face, Antoine Griezmann. The Reds are 20/1 to win all group games - this is the highest of all English clubs.
Finally, Manchester United have been favoured to win all their group games and progress further than other English sides by quite a few people now because of the addition of Cristiano Ronaldo and Raphael Varane. United will play against Villarreal, Atalanta and Young Boys in Group F. The Swiss side shouldn't cause any problems for them, while they will be confident in beating Villarreal home and away, despite losing to them in the Europa League final on penalties last season. Atalanta have also started their Serie A season in poor form and as of now, are not much of a threat either. United are 14/1 to win all group games.
