RB Leipzig and Manchester City face go head to head at the Red Bull Arena, with the visitors the favourites to win the competition as a whole.

Inbound Chelsea forward Christopher Nkunku has recently returned after a lengthy injury lay-off. The 25-year-old scored a hat-trick for Leipzig at the Etihad Stadium last season and will fancy his chances against a City defence that looks less assured.

City striker Erling Haaland has scored a total of 32 goals this season while managing eight shots on target in his last four Champions League appearances. The 22-year-old averages 1.8 shots on target per game.

Jack Grealish and Haaland will both be keen to impress in a clutch match for City, having both got on the scoresheet in their recent 3-1 win over Arsenal last week. So far this campaign, Grealish has scored three times, while Haaland has managed 32 goals across all competitions.

In terms of yellow cards, Konrad Laimer has received four in 13 appearances, while French centre-back Mohamed Simakan has been shown three in 22 matches across all competitions.

Inter Milan versus FC Porto promises to be a fascinating fixture between two previous winners of this competition.

Lautaro Martinez and Mehdi Taremi will provide the biggest goal threats for both of these sides. The former has managed to score 16 and create seven assists in 32 appearances for the Nerazzurri while Iran international, Taremi, has found the back of the net 20 times in 34 matches.

Combative Italian central midfielder Nicolo Barella has been shown a total of six yellow cards during the 2022/23 campaign, while Pepe at the grand age of 39 has received three bookings although the ex-Real Madrid man has missed a fair chunk of the campaign with a knee injury and Ulnar fracture.

As mentioned above, Martinez has scored a total of 16 goals across all competitions.

The 25-year-old has managed to have 11 shots on target across his last four matches having faced the likes of Udinese, Sampdoria, AC Milan and Atalanta.
