The 2025/26 Champions League continues on Wednesday with some very appetising fixtures.
Chelsea travel to Germany to take on six-time winners Bayern Munich, while Liverpool lock horns with Atletico Madrid. Holders PSG also get their campaign underway, taking on Serie A side Atalanta.

Liverpool come into this game with Atletico Madrid with 12 points from four games in the Premier League. Arne Slot's men are also unbeaten in their last seven games at Anfield, winning five of those.

Reigning champions PSG begin the defence of their title at home to Atalanta, in a game they're heavily fancied to win.
The Parisians have started the season very strongly, winning all of their first five games in all competitions, while Atalanta have one win and two draws.
In the Champions League, PSG have won four of their last five games, with those five outings averaging 3.6 goals per game. Atalanta, meanwhile, have won just one of their last five in the Champions League, with those five games averaging 4.2 goals per game.
Based on that, then, we're backing the home side to come out on top in a game filled with goals.

Inter Milan are looking to once again make a dent in the Champions League as they kick off their 2025-26 campaign in Amsterdam, taking on Ajax.
Inter come into this game as favourites following two finals in the space of three years, and they have the firepower to cause problems to any team in Europe. Alongside Lautaro Martinez, Inter boast French forward Marcus Thuram, who is in the form of his career.
Thuram was Inter's top scorer in Serie A last season with 14 goals, and he's started this season in excellent fashion too, bagging three goals in three games for the Milan-based team.
With that in mind, we think he's well placed to find the back of the net against Ajax on Wednesday night.

Chelsea travel to Germany to lock horns with an old foe in Bayern Munich, as the two sides meet in the Champions League for the first time in over five years.
These two sides have thrown up some classics over the years, with Bayern winning the most recent two-legged meeting back in 2020, with an aggregate scoreline of 7-1.
Bayern have started the season in imperious fashion, winning all five of their games in all competitions so far, scoring 19 goals and conceding just five. Chelsea, by contrast, have only won two of their last four and haven't been at their most convincing.
BTTS has occurred in three of Bayern's last six games and two of Chelsea's last three, so we're backing the home side to win a game where both sides find the back of the net.
