Real Madrid and Celtic face off on matchday six of Group F in the Champions League, with Real leading RB Leipzig by just one point in the standings, whilst Celtic are out of the competition as a whole.

Real could only draw 1-1 at home to Girona after losing 3-2 to RB Leipzig. Prior to this, they had won three matches in a row, beating Sevilla 3-1, Elche 3-0 and Barcelona 3-1, with Karim Benzema, Federico Valverde and Rodrygo all scoring in the latter match.

Celtic managed a comfortable 3-0 win away at Livingston last time out after a 1-1 draw with Shakhtar Donetsk. Prior to this, Celtic had been involved in some high-scoring affairs, having beaten Hearts 4-3, Motherwell 4-0 and Hibernian 6-1.

Next up sees Shakhtar Donetsk take on RB Leipzig in a crucial Champions League encounter in Group F. A win for the Ukrainians would see them advance to the Round of 16 at Leipzig’s expense, having hammered the Bundesliga outfit 4-1 on matchday one.

Since their 4-1 demolition of Leipzig, Shakhtar have drawn 1-1 with Celtic on two occasions, whilst also drawing 1-1 with Real Madrid after losing 2-1 to Los Blancos at the Santiago Bernabeu.

Leipzig enters this match in great form, as they have defeated the likes of Hertha Berlin 3-2 and Hamburg 4-0 before drawing 3-3 away at Augsburg from 3-0 down, as well as defeating Real Madrid 3-2 and Bayer Leverkusen 2-0.

Chelsea host Dinamo Zagreb at Stamford Bridge on Wednesday night, with Graham Potters' men already confirmed as group winners.

The Blues will be looking for a much-improved performance following the 4-1 drubbing they were on the wrong end of at Brighton on Saturday. Prior to this, Chelsea had beaten RB Salzburg 2-1 after 1-1 and 0-0 draws with Manchester United and Brentford.

On the other hand, Zagreb have lost their last two matches, doing so 1-0 to Osijek and 4-0 at home to AC Milan. Before these defeats, Zagreb had drawn 1-1 with both Hadjuk Split and Salzburg on either side of a 3-1 home win over Varazdin.

Maccabi Haifa goes up against Benfica in Group H, with the hosts looking to climb above Juventus into the Europa League places, whilst Benfica are aiming to move ahead of PSG at the top of the standings.

Maccabi were thumped 7-2 last time out in the Champions League by PSG, having lost 3-1 in the reverse fixture. Maccabi had managed a 2-0 home win over Juventus after losing 3-1 to the Serie A outfit. The last time these two sides met saw Benfica beat Maccabi 2-0 at the Estadio da Luz, as Rafa Silva and Alejandro Grimaldo both got on the scoresheet.

Benfica’s last five matches have seen four wins and one draw, with the latter being 1-1 away at PSG. Benfica’s victories have seen them beat Rio Ave 4-2, Porto 1-0, Juventus 4-3 and Chaves 5-0.

The final game on this list sees Kobenhavn host Borussia Dortmund, group standings already settled.

The home side have just two points to their name from five matches, having drawn 0-0 with both Sevilla and Manchester City, Their other results have seen them be thrashed 3-0 by both Borussia Dortmund and Sevilla, as well as 5-0 against City at the Etihad Stadium.

Since their 2-0 loss to Union Berlin on 16th October, Dortmund have beaten the likes of Hannover 96 and Stuttgart 5-0, before drawing 0-0 with Manchester City and beating Eintracht Frankfurt 2-1.
