Since their 0-0 draw with Rayo Vallecano on the opening weekend, Barca have gone on to thrash the likes of Real Sociedad 4-1, Real Valladolid 4-0 and Sevilla 3-0 with Lewandowski bagging five in his last three matches.

Plzen managed to get to the group stages via a 2-1 home victory over Qarabag. Since then, they have beaten the likes of Ceska Budejovice 1-0, Slovacko 3-0 and Slovan Liberec 1-0 in the Czech top flight.

A heavyweight clash takes place on Wednesday night as Inter Milan and Bayern Munich go head to head in what is a repeat of the 2010 Champions League final.

Inter have had a mixed start to the season, as despite beating Lecce 2-1 and Spezia 3-0, they have lost two of their last three matches to Lazio and AC Milan by 3-1 and 3-2 scorelines on either side of a 3-1 home win over Cremonese.

Ajax and Rangers meet in what could be an entertaining fixture in Amsterdam on Wednesday evening.

The Dutch Eredivisie outfit have won all of their last five matches, having beaten Cambuur 4-0, Utrecht 2-0, Sparta Rotterdam 1-0, Groningen 6-1 and Fortuna Sittard 3-2.

Rangers will be looking for a good response, having been thrashed 4-0 by Celtic at the weekend. Prior to this, they had beaten Ross County 4-0 and PSV 3-2 on aggregate after drawing 2-2 away at Hibernian in a match that saw them reduced to nine men following red cards for John Lundstram and Alfredo Morelos.

The final tip on this list sees Napoli and Liverpool meet in what feels like a regular Champions League fixture.

Napoli managed a 2-1 victory over Lazio last time out thanks to goals by summer signings Kim Min-Jae and Khvicha Kvaratskhelia. Prior to this, they had drawn 1-1 with Lecce and 0-0 away at Fiorentina after hammering Monza 4-0 and Hellas Verona 5-2.
