1.20pm - Hello Neighbour

Unbeaten in four races so far, including two on the Flat where he showed an impressive cruising speed and turn of foot.

Has won a Grade 2 and a Grade 1 since switching to hurdling. He jumped extremely impressively last time out, and is rated just one pound below the favourite.

The ground will suit him, and he should travel well into the race before hopefully pulling away at the last thanks to his powerful engine.

2.00pm - Lark In The Mornin

Won here at the Festival 12 months ago, taking the Fred Winter (a handicap for four year olds only) by two lengths, having picked up the running off the final bend.

He has been below his best on his last two starts, but that means he is only 10 pounds higher in the handicap returning to Cheltenham. He has had excuses for his last two runs, and has been well backed throughout the week.

3.20pm - Jet Blue

Arguably the unknown quantity of the field, he has raced 15 times already,. 14 of those starts were over in France, including multiple places in Grade 3 bumpers and a win in a Grade 2 bumper back in 2022.

He's had three runs over hurdles, the most recent here at Cheltenham where he was impressive when winning the December Bristol Novices' Hurdle over this course and distance by an easy six lengths.

That was despite making a novicy mistake at the last, which can be forgiven on his first attempt at British hurdles, and if he builds on that win he will be the one to beat here.

5.20pm - Minella Sixo

The last race on the card, Gordon Elliott's charge finished second on his last visit to this course behind a progressive Potters Charm.

Since then, he has been consistent in his three starts, with the only blemish on his record a fall last time out at Haydock.

He appears well handicapped on his last run here. The drop back in distance will be a positive, as he hasn't seemed to stay his recent attempts over three miles, and he's used to running against higher quality horses than he'll face here today.
