England vs Spain: 118/1 Epic Bet Builder Tip

England lock horns with Spain this weekend as they seek revenge for their 2023 World Cup final defeat to the same opponents.

England have had a rough run to the final, finishing second in their group to France, having lost 2-1 to Les Bleus in the opening game before hammering both the Netherlands (4-0) and Wales (6-1). After that, England beat Sweden on penalties following a 2-2 draw, a result that preceded a 2-1 win over Italy after extra time, with England bagging goals at the death of both phases.

Spain, on the other hand, have had an easier time of things, sailing through their group with wins over Portugal (5-0), Belgium (6-2) and Italy (3-1), before beating Switzerland in the quarterfinals by a 2-0 margin and Germany (1-0) after extra time in the semis.

With all of that in mind, we've picked out a 118/1 bet builder tip for what is a highly anticipated game.

England vs Spain: 118/1 Epic Bet Builder Tip

Spain To Win:

Spain are coming into this game as favourites, and it's not hard to see why. La Roja are the reigning world champions and are ranked second in the world, behind only the USA. Many regard Spain as the best side on the planet and in Alexia Putellas and Aitana Bonmati, they have two of the best players on the planet. Spain have won two of their last three head-to-head meetings with England and given how both sides have performed throughout this tournament, they should become European champions for the first time here.

Alexia Putellas To Score Or Assist A Goal:

Alexia Putellas is amidst something of a renaissance this summer. The midfielder comes into this game with three goals and four assists, and has arguably been the standout player of the tournament. Putellas won the Ballon d'Or in 2021 and 2022 and while her form dipped somewhat following those seasons, she looks as good as ever right now and is in prime position to make her mark on this final.

Lucy Bronze To Be Carded:

With 11 fouls committed, Luzy Bronze has made more infringements than any other player, on either side, who will step on the pitch on Sunday evening. The defender, though, has somehow (and controversially) avoided a yellow card in the tournament so far, but referees have received a lot of criticism for failing to award what have looked like clear bookings on Bronze. Given it's been a hot topic, the officials will likely have a keen eye on her actions, and if she carries on fouling at the rate she has been doing, a booking is surely imminent.

Laia Aleixandri To Be Carded:

Laia Aleixandri has been Spain's most carded player throughout this tournament, picking up two bookings. She missed the semi-final through suspension, but with her return to the starting lineup likely here, she's one of the top candidates to receive a booking. Aleixandri will be up against Alessia Russo, who is England's second most fouled player, drawin six fouls in the the tournament so far. With five fouls committed, Aleixandri has also been one of the most consistent foulers in the Spain team this summer.
