Bayern Munich v Borussia Monchengladbach: Sadio Mane to Score First - 7/2

After a somewhat shocking summer move away from Liverpool to the German Champions, Sadio Mane has seemingly settled in well at his new club.

In the three Bundesliga games the Senegalese has played for Bayern, Mane has scored a goal per appearance. This includes a goal on his Bundesliga debut against Europa League winners Frankfurt and a brace in the seven-goal thrashing of VfL Bochum.

This means that Mane currently scores a goal every 81 minutes, with a goal conversion rate of 38% and a shot accuracy of 63%.

Bayern Munich host Borussia Monchengladbach in the Bundesliga this weekend, in another fixture likely to see Mane find the back of the net. Despite this tie becoming a closer contest in recent years, with Monchengladbach being able to best the dominant Bayern on a couple of recent occasions, these games tend to have a high scoreline.

In fact, three of the last five meetings between the two have had more than three goals, suggesting that this weekend may be a goal-fest that Sadio Mane is likely to add to.

Espanyol vs Real Madrid: Karim Benzema to Score 2+ Goals - 3/1

Karim Benzema is back in La Liga action this weekend, the Frenchman coming back to the league in which he finished top scorer last season and is likely to repeat the feat.

Benzema has played in both of Real Madrid’s games in the 2022/23 season, both wins. The Frenchman failed to score in the 2 - 1 win over Almeria, but did score from the penalty spot to retake the lead in the 4 - 1 win over Celta Vigo.

When in a Real Madrid shirt, Karim Benzema will always be likely to score. In 32 appearances in La Liga last season, the Frenchman scored 27 times. Further, in the Champions League, which Real Madrid won for the 14th time, Benzema was also the top scorer in the competition, scoring 15 goals.

Benzema and Real Madrid face Espanyol this weekend, the Frenchman more than likely to be on the scoresheet. Espanyol are also one of Benzema’s favourites to score against, with him scoring eight goals against them throughout his career.

Fiorentina v Napoli: Khvicha Kvaratskhelia to Score First - 7/1

Napoli new boy Khvicha Kvaratskhelia has already endeared himself to the Naples faithful with his three goals and an assist in two appearances in Serie A so far. The Georgian forward made the move from Georgian football with Dinamo Batumi to Napoli this summer for a fee of just £10 million.

Kvaratskhelia made his first Serie A appearance for The Blues came against Verona where he scored the first goal for Napoli in a 5 - 2 win. His second and third came in the same game, goals in the first and second half helping Napoli to a 4 - 0 win over new boys Monza.

Though Fiorentina have won the last two meetings between the two, Napoli overall has a better record in the tie that usually promises a lot of goals. In 47 games, 26 have had score lines with over three goals, which suggests that there could be a lot of action at both ends this weekend, with Kvaratskhelia being likely to be in the thick of it.

Reims v Lyon: Cardoso Lemos Martins (Tete) to Score Anytime - 2/1

22-year-old Metus Martins, or Tete, joined Lyon from Shakhtar Donetsk on loan this summer. The attacking midfielder has played for the Ukrainian side for three seasons, scoring 25 goals in 75 appearances before moving to Ligue 1.

Tete scored within the first 15 minutes of his Ligue 1 debut, his goal and Alexandre Lacazette’s penalty helping Lyon to a 2 - 1 win over Ajaccio. The Brazilian’s two other goals came in Lyon’s second game this season, Tete’s brace adding to Lyon’s tally in the 4 - 1 win over Troyes.

Lyon’s record in the fixture is marginally better, with seven wins to Reims’ five. However, Tete’s early form makes him a player to watch this weekend. The Brazilian is currently averaging a goal every 58 minutes, with a 50% goal conversion rate and a 67% shot accuracy. Overall, Tete may be a young player to watch this season, who has a strong chance of finding the back of the net this weekend against Reims.

Arsenal v Fulham: Gabriel Jesus to Score 2+ Goals - 3/1

Gabriel Jesus’ move from Manchester City to Arsenal has seemingly seen the Brazilian rediscover his form that had eluded him in his later seasons under Pep Guardiola.

Jesus currently has two goals in his first three appearances for Arsenal in the Premier League. Both of these goals came in the resolute 4 - 2 win over Leicester in match week two. This means that the Brazilian currently averages 0.70 goals per 90 minutes in the Premier League, with a 29% goal conversion rate and a 43% shot accuracy.

Though new boys Fulham have shown good potential so far this season, a striker like Jesus will be likely to find himself on the scoresheet. With a player who, despite having a tough time at Manchester City, scored 58 goals in his 159 appearances, his likelihood of scoring will always be somewhat high.
